Aco has more than 6 years of experience in Software Development. He grew up in Bosnia, studied Computer Science and worked in Serbia before moving to Berlin. With a constant thirst for new challenges, he loves to be somewhere between Product Thinking and Technical Solutions.

Bengi leads people topics at smalt. Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, she has led HR functions for multiple start-ups in the German ecosystem as one of the first hires. Having started her career in consulting with Accenture, her most recent role was leading HR at Getir Germany, where she built the people infrastructure to scale the team from 40 to over 800 employees.

Constantin heads Partnerships at smalt. Prior to joining smalt, he founded Fixkraft, a social start-up that matched immigrants and refugees with jobs in Germany. He also has extensive policy experience, having worked at the German Parliament as a member of senior staff. He grew up in Germany, London and Boston and holds an M.Sc from ESADE

Fabian is our Head of Operations, where he oversees all installation services and creates scalable, digital processes. Prior to joining smalt, Fabian worked in climate operations at Zolar leading installation teams and partner management. He started his career at Instafreight and Foodora.

Khurram has 15+ years experience in EdTech and workforce development - as a Cofounder at African Leadership University, CPO at Sharpist, and Associate Partner at McKinsey. He grew up in India, lived and worked in 17 countries before moving to Berlin in 2019. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Lukas joined smalt as Founders Associate. Prior to joining smalt, he finished his Master thesis at Stanford University and worked in the investment team of the climate tech venture capital fund Planet A. He grew up in Munich and Moscow and holds an M.Sc from TU Munich.

Marcel is one of our two Elektromeisters, technical managers (technischer Betriebsleiter) and GVEFK at smalt. Born and raised in Berlin, he started his career focusing on home electronics. After receiving his accreditations as Elektromeister, he worked as an expert (Prüf- und Sachverständiger), testing electrical systems and machines. Over the last years, he exclusively focused on renewable energy and electrification of mobility infrastructure.

Marius has 12+ years in EdTech and workforce development - as an operator as founding team of upGrad, India’s leading online education company, investor at Learn Capital and Bertelsmann as well as advisor for McKinsey. He grew up in the German countryside, lived in India and the USA and holds an MBA from Harvard.

Tobias is one of our two Elektromeisters and technical managers at smalt. Born and raised around Berlin, Tobias has a strong passion for educating the next generation of climate heros. Prior to joining smalt, Tobias was a trainer for SPS programming and a technical operations manager for a home-installation company.
